Digital Backpack for Virtual Items

Xsolla ZK is a new gaming-centric Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain, developed in a partnership between Xsolla and zkSync.

We envision Xsolla ZK as the ultimate digital backpack for virtual game items on a blockchain, providing our gamer network with a comprehensive suite of features designed to enhance their gameplay experience. Gamers in our community will have the opportunity to:

  • Earn item and NFT rewards for achieving in-game milestones;

  • Purchase unique in-game items and NFTs to enhance gameplay;

  • Monetize and trade items seamlessly with other players;

  • Receive additional rewards for loyalty to both games and the network;

  • Access exclusive quests and challenges for added engagement;

  • Use items across multiple games for a cohesive experience;

  • Interact with vibrant gamer communities to share tips and strategies;

  • Own tokens in Xsolla ZK, allowing participation in the network’s growth and development.

Our vision aligns with the ZK Credo, believing Web3 can create a better world through decentralization and community. However, when it comes to gaming, we understand that success relies on a seamless and enjoyable experience, and we’re determined to deliver on that promise.

What is ZK

Zero-knowledge (ZK) rollups are a method of bundling multiple transactions and verifying their correctness on the Ethereum network. This approach enhances scalability by allowing off-chain transactions while ensuring that the final state remains secure and valid. Once a batch is verified, it is finalized on Ethereum just like any other transaction, using cryptographic validity proofs known as zero-knowledge proofs to uphold trust and integrity.

In zkSync, this process utilizes a SNARK (succinct non-interactive argument of knowledge) to further optimize security and efficiency. This innovative technology enables the generation of a proof for each batch of transactions, which is then submitted to Ethereum for finalization, ensuring a seamless and reliable experience for users in the gaming ecosystem.
